Terms And Conditions for Use of The Service Provided by Airportsfirst Ltd and its
associated Website
- Airportsfirst (hereinafter referred to as “The Company”) reserve the right to revise/amend
any of the Terms & Conditions stated on this website without prior notice. Said
Terms & Conditions will come into effect 1 hour after posting and will override
any previous Terms & Conditions.
- All reservations will only be considered as accepted when a reference number has
been issued and/or a confirmation email sent.
- All quotations are valid for 24 hours from the time of issue. All quotations are
based on direct trips and the assumption that passengers are ready to travel at
the time and place specified.
- When collecting a passenger from a London residential address The Company will allow
10 minutes waiting time from the time of booking, the passenger will be charged
25p per minute waiting time thereafter and The Company cannot be held liable for
any delays on the part of the passenger.
- The Company will add a surcharge of 50% (of the total booking price) to all journeys
booked for December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1.
- An additional charge will be applied if the passenger has to make a stop or any
other diversion in the journey (minimum £5). All our drivers are competent and have
a good working knowledge of London and the surrounding areas and strive to take
the shortest possible route on any specific day. If the customer is required to
make an additional stop(s) on the way the passenger will need to give a minimum
of 12 hours prior notice.
- All stops or diversions not booked in advance will be taken at the discretion of
the driver.
- Extra luggage not notified at the time of booking, will be taken at the discretion
of the driver. The driver will make all reasonable efforts to comply with the passenger’s
request. The passenger may need to pay an extra sum directly to the driver to accommodate
the request. The passenger will receive a signed receipt for all extra charges paid
directly to the driver.
- The cost of a journey is also dependant on the size of the vehicle required. The
driver holds the right to refuse any passenger who has excess luggage, which could
pose a danger to the vehicle and/or the drivers/passenger(s) during transit.
- It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure the correct sized vehicle has been
booked in compliance with the guidelines specified on this website.
- The driver may assist the passenger to load luggage into the vehicle, but will not
under any circumstance be held responsible for any damage to passenger’s luggage
or its contents.
- The Company monitors flight arrivals on behalf of the passenger at no extra cost.
The passenger will not incur an extra cost for delayed flights. If the passenger
misses their flight into London they must notify The Company at least 1 hour prior
to the scheduled arrival time to avoid extra cost.
- All reservations may only be altered or cancelled with the permission of The Company
and must be in writing, emails are accepted as written notification. Cancellations/alterations
may incur charges as follows:

All payments will be charged in Pounds Sterling (£) and can be made in cash or by
debit/credit card. All debit/credit cards will be charged on or before the day of
your journey. Cash payments will be made to the driver on the day of the journey.
- In order to make cash bookings, debit/credit card details must be submitted to The
Company. These details will only be used to secure the booking. Charges will only
be made against the details provided in the instance of a late cancellation or “no
show”.
- Payments made to The Company via the website are processed using a secure server.
- When collecting a passenger from a UK address the driver will wait a maximum of
30 mins from the journey start time. If The Company is unable to make contact with
the passenger, the driver will pull away and the passenger will be responsible for
the full cost (including 30 mins waiting time).
- Once a flight has landed, all bookings for pick up include 30 minutes free waiting
time, and 25p per minute thereafter.
- When booking a pick up from a London airport the driver will await the passenger
at the information desk of the terminal. The driver will arrive at the information
desk after the flight has landed;
International flights - 30 mins after arrival
European/UK flights – 15 mins after arrival.
The passenger can specify how much time they wish to lapse before the driver enters
the airport to meet them; i.e. 50 mins after landing. If the customer specifies
a time to be collected they will not be charged for the time between the flight
landing and the pick up time.
- The driver will wait a maximum of 40 mins, from the specified time, for the passenger
to make contact, during this time the passenger will not incur a charge. If after
40 mins the passenger fails to make contact with The Company, the driver will pull
away and the passenger will be liable for the full cost (including 40 mins waiting
time).
- In the unlikely event that the passenger has to wait at the airport information
desk for the driver, the passenger should contact The Company to arrange an alternative
meeting point/time. The Passenger should not leave the airport without advising
The Company as this may be regarded as a “no show” and the passenger made liable
for the full cost.
- All Illustrations, photographs and descriptions on The Company website serve merely
as guides and should not be considered as exact representation and cannot be considered
as binding.
- The Company reserves the right to use sub-contractors to provide a service to the
passenger(s) where appropriate. The passenger will treat the sub-contractor(s) with
the same respect and courtesy they would any member of The Company. The sub-contractor
will provide an identical high quality service as The Company and will be licenced
and comply with the regulations stipulated by the Public Carriage Office or the
Local Authority.
- The Company cannot be held responsible for services or products offered by any company
listed on the “links” page of our website. It is the customers responsibility to
authenticate all products/services before entering into a contract with said company(ies).
- All children who are required by law to travel in a baby car seat should do so and
The Company will not be held responsible for any fine(s) issued to the passenger
by the Metropolitan or any other Police Service. The Company will provide baby car
seats if requested at the time of booking at a cost of £5 per seat for children
up to 3 years of age and also child booster seats for children upto 12yrs old.
- Passengers are advised that babies and children are considered as passengers and
vehicles should be booked accordingly.
- The Company will only collect your information to process your booking and provide
you with the best service possible. The company will only collect: your name, address,
phone number, email address and your credit/debit card details. We will not collect
any other sensitive information without your explicit consent. All information collected
will be held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988.
- The Company will not send you marketing material in the future without your consent.
The Company will provide the opportunity for you to refuse marketing material from
us or our business partner(s) in the future.
- If The Company intends to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic
Area) we will always obtain your explicit consent prior to transfer.
